Dear Colleague

I am delighted to invite you to join us at the BASCSN Annual Professional Development Conferenceon the 28th/29thNovember 2019 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, Birmingham NEC. I would encourage you to register as soon as you can so that we can plan for numbers.

Beginning at 6.30pm on the evening of Thursday 28thNovember with networking and a presentation followed by dinner, the programme (see below) covers a range of topics that will be of interest to all specialist skin cancer nurses and provides plenty of time for discussion.

Your consistent feedback is that the conference is an excellent opportunity to keep up to date with the latest developments in our field and learn from other specialists and your own colleagues. It is also a great opportunity to network with colleagues from around the country.

The meeting will also include our AGM where the Board will share with you what we have achieved in the past year and discuss our plans for the coming year.

We do hope you can join us and contribute to making it a really successful conference.

If you are applying for a grant or funding please register and let us know you are waiting for a grant or approval. If you have any queries please contact Tim Dean (tim(at) Don’t forget that Macmillan take quite a while to process grant applications so get them in as soon as you can.

Lastly, we are planning to have some posters at the conference this year. If you would like to bring a poster demonstrating some work you have done, please e-mail Tim.

Best wishes

Saskia Reeken
